Eco Sustainability … a step in the right direction 

There is still more to do in this space but we are proud of our commitment to starting out right! With conscious decision making relating to eco impact.

Here are some highlights of how we are making a difference.

 

Fashion waste epidemic 

When it comes to trend, Green is the new black!

We in Australia are the second largest consumer of fabric per person! (ABC News)

Garments need to live a full, happy and meaningful life...

A major advantage of hiring your next garment means you are helping out the environment by reducing your impact on textile waste.

If everyone made the conscious choice to HIRE instead of purchase all of their 'one time wear' outfits this decision would have a significant positive impact on the fabric waste epidemic.

So if you are considering hiring your next outfit, THANK YOU!

 

 

Tissue Paper

Your package will arrive beautifully wrapped in premium eco friendly compostable tissue paper which is completely acid free and FSC Certified featuring soy-based ink.

The decision to source this product through noissue allowed us to contribute to their reforestation initiative ... we requested our tree be planted in Haiti! 

 

                                                    

 

Zero Waste Mailers

Did you know - our beautiful pink postage packs are edible ... for worms (only!)

Keeping it simple … if you receive these pink mailers and are unable to compost the original postage packaging, you are welcome to simply send it back with your garment in the prepaid return mailer provided and we will take care of the rest!

 

Reusable Packaging

We are reducing the need for single use poly bags by utilising secure, premium, durable, reusable satchels.

An additional benefit of this product is the internal access window which means no sticky label is required (adhesive products tend to not be as eco friendly!). We can instead print our delivery labels on non adhesive biodegradable paper.

 

Delivery Service 

We have selected Sendel to be our priority courier service in Perth as they provide a Carbon Neutral delivery service.

Full disclosure.

While we have the best of intentions and are consciously making proactive business decisions with our impact on the environment at the front of our minds, the reality is this business is in its infancy. This means we are still learning more about how we can do this better.

While we continue to work through and understand; our business operations, customer deadlines and 3rd party services supporting our supply chain, there may be occasions where our customers receive orders packaged in alternative materials. The vision is to over time, reduce this impact and move towards a more consistent sustainable offer.
