Twenty seventeen, how are thee? I hope all had a magical new year and are achieving self promising goals. As for me, I am coming back from a well needed vacation and have picked up a few new hobbies on the side. Two and a half months in the new year, I have also been fully committed to a lifestyle change that I will share in the coming posts. And yes, posting has been tumultuous, but now I am here ready to take on R² with some TLC.
As we’re already going full speed ahead in the new year, I have some exciting news. Before I spill the beans on Runway making history, there’s even bigger excitement that has filled the catwalk. NYFW has just completed and there is one show that made my high waisted pants and ankle boot dreams come true.
Debuting his Fall 2017 Ready-To-Wear collection, Alexander Wang saturated the runway with a motor chic grunge repertoire. Black on black attires were impeccably well stated with studded booties, obtuse necklines, embellished rhinestone detailing, noir jumpsuits, and oversized billowy jackets. The styling was just as spine tingling and memorizing as half tucked graphic tops, leather jacket/ denim combos, and the ankle-bootie-meets-perfect-length-ankle-pant look set precedence for [what may be] the most aspired trends in the forthcoming season.
I am looking forward to the coming months and continuing to create & express my passion with you. And stayed tuned for more fashion, style, and inspiration posts. Until then, enjoy my favorite looks and be sure to share which runway look you love the most and what you would love to see on the Runway Regime. Au revoir!
